Hi,

i just wanted to say that everything you said in the Presa Canario / Pit bull X was true! That bloke is a real A**hole! He just didnt like it that you were telling him the truth, and not telling him great his dogs are. I dont believe for 1 second that breeding those 2 dogs was an "accident" ! He did it on purpose to make money. Your Pitbulls are fantastic, why would you want one of his mutts. He is just p***ed off that his dogs arent as good as yours. Slagging your dogs off is just childish. Well done! Keep up the good work!

Thanks Ozzy. At first I thought maybe I was too harsh and it was an accident and maybe he was a cool guy. Now I can see the more and more he post his true personality comes out. He doesn't even deserve those dogs
I wasn't trying to make him look stupid or something. But guess since he doesn't have knowledge and doesn't want to be proven wrong it upset him. Sad that grown men live their lives threw their dogs. Dogs are their ego, image adn self esteem and he called us the whiny girls!? I find that many people like himself resort to name calling, even treatening if you tell them the truth. They want you to feed them lies about their animals. Thanks for the compliment on my bulldogs. Maybe I should get a big head and start telling everyone how wonderful my doggies are...lol Just Kidding.

i just read te whole thread then on the pit x thing. wowsers! if i ever knew anyone like that id probably have to resort to some kind of violence haha. and to hear that people are purposely crossbreeding akitas with other breeds that have unstable temperaments!! i mean what the hell??$!@

I know in Detroit it is a huge buss. they cross this bred with everything and advertise in the paper. I really think they believe they are making a better dog! I have never understood the reasons behind this action and never will accept it.

I dont think that were too hard on him at all. He didnt need anyone to make him look stupid he was doing a good enough job of that on his own! He hasent got a clue what he is doing. I dread to think what those dogs are going to turn out like and what sort of people he is selling them to. Again its people buying them because they think it makes them look good, they dont buy because they love the breed or know alot about it.

To tell ya what I think, I really think he was trying to make the ultimalte fighting dog. The way he was refering to them being in the "pit" doesn't that refer to the dog pits they use to fight the dogs???
And the whole "how do you determine which is the dominate and agressive dog"...WTF??

Please correct me if I'm wrong here. but the guy really needs an A$$ kicking to beat some sence into him!!
I feel so bad for his dogs as well, he doesn't deserve them at all. His stupidity shone through when he got so defensive and showed how he knew absolutely nothing!!!
I hope one of his dogs bites him in the butt.

Just curious, but do you have something against 'good looking guard dogs'?
Do all guard dogs have to be "not" good looking?

No I think proper guard dogs are a good thing. Many people like himself have dogs for the wrong reason their image. Also usuing them to scare people and be guard dogs. Pit Bulls were never ment for that.
He thinks he has a big bad good looking guard dog. You can go read his post if you like. Dogs can be quite suited and do fine as guard dogs no matter what they look like if they are suited to the job. No need to purposly breed cross breeds in hope of making guard dogs. Dogs are no better a guard dog just because they look good. I don't see a problem with a having a beautiful guard dog though.

I just thought the comment was laughable (sp?) as well as the one about hot looking pits in houston.

Its not too often you find two old farts like us ages 41 and 42 years old walking their American Pit Bull Terriers down the bike path LOL Punks like to hide behind their dogs and look cool!!! They are only a reflection of their dogs.

You know a friend of mine has a pitt....sad thing is he thinks that its a good "scare" for people, that they'll see her and not come near his house....I tellhim time and time, she's too sweet to guard and its wrong to use any breed to "scare" people. It adds to the problems....

She is the sweetest dogs, the funny thing is, she's suposed to be a guard dog, but she'd probably hold the door open for an intruder and help carry out the goods!!
I've never seen a dog love a belly rub soooo much!!!!

I have to say....in my line of work, guys like this presaXpit 'breeder' are anyones worst nightmare!! Here in Toronto, the same things are starting to happen. Pits just aren't big enough anymore. We are seeing pitXneo, pitXcorso, etc...you get the point. I own a presa and have been approached on many occasions to breed him to a pit. Anyone with half a brain might notice before they ask that he's been altered! Wanted to say nice work 'true pits'! enjoyed reading the banter back and forth.
