Hello, I have a 3 year old beautiful rednose pit. We have had her for a year and a half we rescued her so of course we don't know her background. She is a total people person , if somebody was to braek into my my apt. she would probably kiss and lick them to death, but when it comes to other animals forget it. After we had her a year we got a 8 week old lab male and she and he are the best of friends love each other but if we are out for a walk or whatever and she sees another dog she goes absolutely balistic, she lunges and makes noises I have never heard before or sometimes she will try to trick them and be really still and quiet until they come up to her then she flips out. I want to get a muzzle for when we are out but at the pet stores the ones they have she just bats them right off her head. I was wondering if they make one that can attach to her harness so she cannot get it off. She is a sweet sweet girl but she just does not like dogs outside, we have had other dogs over to the house and she was fine with them inside just not outside. If anyone has any ideas or knows if they even make those kind of muzzles I would be very greatful. THANKS

I'm not sure what type of muzzle you have tried. But the best kind are the leather working muzzles. The dogs can't get them off, they are a little more expensive, but they really work great.

"sometimes she will try to trick them and be really still and quiet until they come up to her then she flips out."

I thought this was kind of funny. She isn't trying to trick them its just a thing most Pit Bulls do they are waiting for the other dogs. Most of the smart ones will wait for the opportune moment rather than going in blind and crazy like. They also get really focused so that is why she is quit and still.
