quote: Great, you're breeding dogs with obvious genetic defects (yes, albinism is a DEFECT), defects which have numerous debilitating and even fatal health problems linked to them. People like you do a great service for the breed. http://www.geocities.com/~amazondoc/albinism/textframe3.html#albinohealth http://bowlingsite.mcf.com/Genetics/ColorGen.html#C

Goob... Pat yourself on the back. I can honestly say that I don't agree with every OPINION you might have but that happens. Anyways I just wanted to let you know I appreciate the knowledge and attention you bring to this site. Many times, such as this one, I want to post and counter-claim whats being said but don't have enough knowledge on the breed to feel fully sure of my response. Thanks again for helping us all understand the breed better, Trae [This message has been edited by PitNest (edited 12-07-2003).] IP: Logged |

quote: People looking for an accessory, something to tote around to complete their image, then dump off onto someone else at the first hint that it might become an inconvenience. These people will pay big $$ for something "rare" or "exotic", without taking the time to realize that lots of times certain traits are "rare" because they compromise the health of the animal. Pitnest, I'm glad to see that you're not holding a grudge after our earlier disagreements, no hard feelings here, either IP: Logged |

your dogs are garbage. why the hell would anyone want an albino pit? an "inverted" brindle, do people really buy(beleive you, not purchase) that? i'm guessing by "english pitbull" you mean a staffy pit "mix". so basically it's a larger staffy, because you do realize they're basically the same breed, right? quote: still LMAO, that was a good one seriously IP: Logged |

It is so sad that people breed dogs like this. There are way too many people breeding dogs that have no clue what they are doing. Have they been to the humane society lately???? I have and it's full of dogs, puppys, cats, and kittens that no one wants or if they do want them they don't have room for them. STOP BREEDING. Quit trying to make money off of a living thing that you can't guarantee will have a long safe healthy life. Jenny IP: Logged |

You do realize that if your breeding these dogs with such health defects and registering them. You could loose your registration rights, along with being sued to the quick by each and every owner who bought these dogs from you???!!! Your telling them, they are getting quality, healthy dogs, that are exotic, when in turn your breeding into them serious defects that may look cool, but very harmful to the animals?? And to your quote, "I know my pitts", end quote. THis just shows your ignorance. Any breeder knows the history, standards, and proceedures for their breeds!!! If you really knew your dogs and the breed, you would have learned that these are horrible mutations, and your breeding it into them! IP: Logged |

Albino pitbulls???? I've heard of albino rabbits, mice, and horses, never pits. Mice and rabbits have red eyes, horses have blue, so is there different types of albinoism?? My god!! Blue or bi coloured eyes in pitbulls is condidered a serious fault so I've read. I know you said that their eyes should be red but in some other albino animals like the horse, the eyes are dominately blue, so I would think that any pitbull with blue eyes has albino genes?? I'm probably wrong though. IP: Logged |

I dont even see why an albino animal is considered exotic.I've always known since I was a child that albinism was an unhealthy mutation.I always thought they were ugly too, with their pink skin and squinty, pink-lidded eyes. Why is there a following for this look? YUK! IP: Logged |
