Hey everyone, well as some of you knwo I have 2 puppies that are brother and sister. but they play so rough.I know that pitty's play rough, bt they only play this way with each other .I am affraid that they are going to hurt each other. And they are white, and where they have bitten eachother while playing you can see the bumps really bad , will these leave bad scares or just go away. But its really my female who does most of the roughest play, is this normal? Thanks for the help

Yes it's pretty normal for pitbull pups to play rough, they might be trying to sort out a pecking order (top dog). My two play rough all the time but when I hear loud growling or snapping from my female, I know she's had enough! (he tries to mount her all the time but she's been spayed) I then have to seperate them for a few hours so they don't end up in a full scale brawl. Nellie is "top dog" in their relationship but if it came down to it, Chief would absolutely maul her to death, that's why when I leave the house they have to be chained up at all times because when it comes down to it I just don't trust them NOT to fight.

It's alot of hard work to have two pitbulls but when it comes down to it I think they are worth every bit of stress they put on me.

Exactly, they are just having fun/testing each other. Our female also rules the roost but our male (drake) would DEFINATELY clean house if they fought. Our female is white as well. I don't want them fighting either way, but b/c shes white even thier small little brawls can leave her marked up. However the marks usually always clear up within a week.

Yeah, My little Trickster is a white pup, too. He never actually had his sisters or brothers after he was weened but my cat and him liked to scrap, and usually THE CAT WON. As a matter of fact, my 4 month old kitten still whoops up on him, too! :-P
I don't think he has any scars from it all, not from that or playing (HARDCORE) with my friends 75 lbs boxer/pit mix (they make GORGEOUS dogs btw). Don't worry too much about the playing rough because after raising my little devil, I think dogs can handle almost ANYTHING!
