I think i have the answers to your question, My dog also rips up every toy i get her. So i started buying rubber toys with ropes, their the best for them, not the squeak toys cuz my dog rips through those too. So try the rubber ones with thick ropes. They can chew on them but its harder to rip through.

I have two large pits, and the only toy that they cannot destroy, and god knows theyve tried,is the large bone made by KONG.Its made from some kind of supernatural rubber that is tougher than a tire,I swear!

These Tire Biter toys are supposed to be tough, though they're expensive (Petco has the big ones for $20 or so, I think) http://www.pooch.ca/cat235_1.htm

These balls are also supposed to be good http://www.petedge.com/shopping/product/detailmain.jsp?itemID=1231&itemType=PRODUCT&iMainCat=681&iSubCat=713&iSubSubCat=0&iProductID=1231

These are good, not as a leave out all the time toy, but for playing tug and catch, I got one about 2-3 yrs ago, and it's still around, though it's now more eggshaped because of all the tears in it it's tough enough that I can tug away with one of the bullies. It's been Goo and Annie's favorite toy to play tug with, no other toy has lasted more than about a week of their abuse http://www.petedge.com/shopping/product/detailmain.jsp?itemID=1297&itemType=PRODUCT&iMainCat=681&iSubCat=713&iSubSubCat=0&iProductID=1297

Planet Dog has great toys (the orbees, and apparently they have some new ones made out of the same material), and they also have a guarantee that if your dog chews them up, you can get another at NO cost!
Here's their website: http://planetdog.com/
I got Goo one with a bungee, but if I bought another, wouldn't bother, as she seems to know that the bungee is "weak", and anytime I let her sit down and chew the toy, that's what she focuses on. It also leaves a walloping bruise if the dog is playing and suddenly lets go
