Hi i have an one year old female american pitbull and she has itchy spots all around her back legs we have tried a special kind of shampoo and that seems to work but only for about a week and we put cornflour on it as well but that only seems to do the same as the shampoo. She scratches and scratches and scratches one of her nipples until it bleeds can you suggest something. IP: Logged |

hey Bec, You need to take her to a vet, before it get's even worse. Believe me, it will. If you don't take her soon. You'll save yourself alotta $$$. The longer you wait, the more you'll spend, and the longer it'll take to heal the problem. You don't want to have to take her to a specialist. But in some situations, going straight to a specialist/dermatologist will really save you money in the end. Can you be more specific w/ these "itchy-spots?" You said on her back legs, & then you said she scratches her nipples. What area(s) of her body are we speaking of here? How do these itchy-spots look like? Better details can help us help you.
