REPORT FROM TEXAS

Two boys are playing football at this park in a small town in Texas
when one of the boys is suddenly attacked by a crazed Rottweiler.

Thinking quickly, the other boy takes a stick and shoves it under the dog's collar, twists it, and breaks the dog's neck, thus saving the life of his friend.

A local sports reporter who was strolling by sees the incident and
rushes over to interview the boy. He tells the boy he's going to write the story and says, "I'll title it "Young Longhorn Fan Saves Friend From Vicious Animal."

But I'm not a Longhorn fan," the little hero replies.

Sorry, since we're in Texas, I just assumed you were," says the reporter and he starts writing again. He asks " How does "Aggie Fan Rescues Friend From Horrific Attack sound?"

"I'm not an Aggie fan either," the boy says. Oh, I thought everyone in Texas was either for the Aggies or the Longhorns.
What team do you root for?" the reporter asks.

"I'm just visiting my cousin, I'm an Arkansas Razorback fan," the boy replies. "They're just the best!"

The reporter smiles, starts a new sheet in his notebook, and writes: "Little Redneck Bastard From Arkansas Kills Beloved Family Pet".

Thats Funny!

Yeah, in the end reporters say it the way it was'nt originally said.

That reminds me of a time when i was in the 10th grade, yeah way back.
A reporter from the Los Angeles Times saw my friends & i walking home after school. If you know of a little history of hip hop fashion, you should remember the era of 'CrossColours' or was it CrossColors, i can't quite remember. Anyhow, this fashion company was a big thing (not really w/ me tho, seriously, they were too expensive anyway) even before it hit w/ the masses. Anyhow, this reporter stoped us and asked us if we wanted to be in a front page article on the Los Angeles Times talking about CrossColours & all. We eventually said yes, and the next day we had a weak-ass fashion shoot in the middle of a Blvd. This was all taking place in a "wellbehaved" neighborhood. I mean this neighborhood is not even close to becoming invaded by gangs, or the liking. The reporter asked us a couple questions about the clothes, and why we wear them, not knowing that we actually stole our cloths, because they were ridiculously priced. I mean believe me i don't consider myself to have been a totally "bad-child/teen", but i'm far from what i used to be now. Waaayyy different now. But "it's still in my blood"---urrr!?! LOL.
Anyway, we told the reporter all kinds of stuff about what he thinks he knows about stuff & shtuff, and in the end/when the article came out, he flipped the whole scrip. Saying all kinds of lame-ass things, like we were a bunch of hoodlums, in a gang infested neighborhood. Hanging out in the streets, up to no-good. Basically making us look like nothing of what we originally told him.
It's all media hype!
They say what the masses want to believe.
I can't believe how much power entertainment has control of the way people think.

Angie, i don't know if your story is true or not, but it can easily be a true one.
A reporter trying to take advantage of a situation to cash in, regardless if it involves a life (alive or dead) it never matters. That's the entertainment industry. Live & Let Die.
Cash Rules Everything Around Me, BOOM, Get The Money, Dollar Dollar Bill Ya'll...LOL!
