I pulled out 3 weeks ago 2 females, young, both of them for a lady who actually never contacted me again and so the 2 doggies have been at the vet's for the last 3 weeks at $28 a day and I am not sure how long can I can keep this up. I am in Los Angeles, I am coordinating the rescues from the Athens shelter in Georgia because it seemed to be impossible for anybody to rescue from there. It is a really difficult pound to work with and the death rate was over 95%. It works well now with me coordinating but it is so time consuming that it is really difficult to do anything for the doggies that people never followed up (16 of them) and I am left with.I am more careful now before I pull so this should not happen anymore. I am reluctant to let the pits go anywhere else but to a rescue or good home. I had a friend evaluate them, she took them home for 2 days to know their temperament and she said that Hope, who is 1 year old, was shy but she was excellent after about 10 minutes. She is really sweet and great with kids gets along with other dogs as well. The other doggie Lacey, is like a little tiger. She is older maybe 3 -real age- and she is very very affectionate with people and great with kids as well. She is mellow, sweet and a snuggle bunny. She was getting along great with the 2 males she was with but not with Hope. She kept on picking on her. They are both altered and have all their shots, including rabies. They are as well heartworm negative. If there is anything you could do to help one or the other or even both, I would arrange for the transport myself. As well, I would not want anything for the pound fees and their altering. Would you please help them? Thank you for rescuing pits, Liana

If anyone can help these dogs by giving them a home.. contact Liana at..

Thanks.. Angie
