Hi Rottymommy - I was just reading an older post about your training with Daisy - the 3 yr old that you took in. I must say it is quite a good feeling that you take on the responsibility of taking in dogs and caring for them for life. I do the same with cats, and it feels great to know there's someone else out there that has the same feelings for dogs. I wanted to give you a pat on the back and also wanted to know how Daisy is doing nowadays. You had quite a few good responses from caring people to help answer your questions. Have things continued to progress positively? Hope all is well with with your furry kids. lol I know how that is. Keep up the good work!

As far as the big babies at home both Abby and Daisy are doing great. Thep play everyday now and I can even leave Daisy out of her room now when I leave. Abby let me know that she preferred it this way by chewing on items when Daisy was put in her room while I would be gone. I was going to put Daisy trhough a behaviorist but didnt like the behaviorist that was recommended for her she told me from the start that most of her issues couldnt be corrected which is a load of b.s. but I found a wonderful trainer who specializes in behavior and enrolled Daisy in hiw obedience class for the socialization. So I am only paying a obedience class fee but he is giving me drills to work on both Daisy and Abby's behavior problems to work on outside of class. He is wonderful and I am so glad I found him. I thought Abby was the biggest mooch till I took in Daisy and realized she is 10x worse than Abby when it comes to attention but I love it. Daisy really settled in here fast I think she knew quickly that she was safe here. She still resource guards but hopefully with this new trainer will get that to a more tolerable level. Thanks for asking about the girls and Pitbull Princess glad to see ya back!
