BREED SPECIFIC LEGISLATION WAS DEALT A TERRIBLE BLOW LAST WEEK IN A HISTORIC VICTORY FOR AMERICAN CAMPAIGNERS . WHEN THE SUPREME COURT IN ALABAMA RULED THAT THERE WAS NO GENETIC EVIDENCE THAT ONE BREED OF DOG WAS MORE DANGEROUS THAN ANOTHER , SIMPLY BECAUSE OF ITS BREED. I'm, very happy about this victory, not only for PitBulls but for all the breeds that are affected by the unfair legislation. Personally I do not own any "Pitbull" type dogs, but I own a rottie and a boxer. ANd nobody will take my babies away from me. But I have friends who own "pits" and they are the sweetest most wonderful dogs just like my rottie who is a big giant teddy bear. My best quote is:"In Germany they came first for the communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time no one was left to speak up.” This is why I stand up for any breed and every breed. And knowing that I'm not alone gives me the confidence that we will be able to defeat this BSL problem.
