Hi males and female cockatiels can both be agressive 1of my females and 1 of my males are very agressive and they were hand reared birds.

Now my baby that i hand raised is the sweetest male you could ever want.
Providing plenty of time is spent with the bird, plenty of handling then you should not have a problem with agression.
Mine are only like this thanks to my dogs barking at them.

There's not really one straight answer, but from my own experience I found that female cockatiels tend to be a bit more aggressive than males.
