I've had my new parakeet for about 10 days. He's still pretty quiet but he's eating. Only seeds. I've also tried mixing it with the Zupreem pellets, but I think he's eating around the pellets. I've offered apple, grapes and carrots... he won't even try it. Should I just keep leaving fresh food in there every day? Will he eventually try it or is there some sort of trick I should know about????

Hi, putting fruit and veggies in the cage everyday he will learn that this is food aswell.

Many birds will not eat pellets and if he is eating round them i would not put them back in whole wheat bread is also good for them.
