Can you please tell me what a cere is,oh and to tell the sex of your budgie is it the color of its beak.I think the cere is the color around its nose but mine is bluessish

There ceres are the holes at the top of its beak. And im not sure about the beak color thing

The cere is the skin above the beak if this is blue your bird is definalety male.

White,tan, dark brown ceres are females dark brown seres mean she is in breeding mode.

Blue, Purplish pink are males.
Young budgies resemble females until there first molt at 6months of age.
