![]() ![]() ![]() You definately have to bathe it. I bathe my cockatiel 2-3 times a week. USe a spray bottle. this resembles the baths cockatiels take in their natuve Australia by sitting on trees when it begins to rain and stretching out their wings and twisting and turningso that the rain falls on all body parts. ![]() ![]() ![]() Hi yes spraying them with warm water from a spray bottle but make sure its one of those bottles of you turn the nozzle it makes the water spray out in a mist. Cockatiels love the bath and its funny to watch them spread there wings and litterally turn on the backs to get water on every part of there feathers. Once there feathers are wet stop spraying and allow them to preen and flap about. mike. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() You can even put a small bowl of warm water(no soap!) in the cage for the bird to clean itself. My bird loves to play in the water! IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Alex loves to get inthe bathtub with me! I make sure the water is warm but not enough to hurt her, and I always have to hold on to her...she seems to have moments when she thinks she's a duck! IP: Logged |
