Hi, Depending how long the chicks went without food from there parents then there bodies maybe weak i have hand raised a cockatiel since he was 3days old i have added the link so yu can see what he looks like now.

I would advice on buying an egg food this is specially made for hand raising and weaning chicks you can buy this from any petstore. The reason i advice on feeding this instead of baby food cereals as most of them hav milk powder in it and birds are lactose intolerant and can cause sour crop and infections in the crop.

How old are the chicks they should be fed as follows.

1day - 2 weeks every 1-2 hours around the clock.

2-3 weeks every 4hours.

4-6 weeks. they should be able to go about 6hours without needing a feed.

They should be kept warm with either a brooder or in a box with a hotwater bottle wrapped in a blanket and the temp should be kept the same at all times.

Also during feeding after every couple of mouthfulls of food give a drink of water a syringe is best for feeing and giving water.

hope this helps.
