Author | Topic: parakeet questions-- help! |

![]() ![]() Hi there!! This question is almost so silly, I'm almost afraid to ask! But-- has anyone out there left their parakeet alone overnight? I love my bird, but he is very self-sufficient-- his food, water, etc., last several days. I need to go out of town, and the main thing I'm concerned about is that I won't be here to "put him to bed" at night (i.e. cover his cage!) Like I said, I love my bird . . . . but I hate to go to the trouble (mine, and someone else's) of getting someone to care for him. Would this be okay, just for a short period of time? Thanks for your help! IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi Yes it would be ok to leave your bird over night providing the room is kept at its normal temprature and you put fresh food and water in before you go. This was not a silly question it was a good one and shows how much you love your bird. mike. IP: Logged |
