Hi everyone,

Our little keet loves his cage so much, he just won't come out? We've been leaving his door open on and off for the past two months, but he's just not interested.

He is nearly finger-trained, but I don't want to pull him out--I'd rather he come out out of his own accord and curiosity. But I'm starting to get impatient--I'm so eager for him to come out and have fun!

Any tips on convincing a keet to explore outside of his cage?

Thanks!
~Megan

Hi once he is comftable to sit on your finger slowly bring him out the cage if he has a favourite piece of fruit or veg that he likes hang it on the outside of the cage this well entice him out.

Birds will only come out of there cages if they feel safe and dont feel threatend.
