Hi, I just recently got some pigeons and I am keeping them in the house. They are in a rather small cage together (about 2x3 ft) and I was wondering if anyone knows of the right type of cage to get them, perches, toys, feed dishes, etc. I am mostly looking for a suitable cage though. They seem rather content as of now, but I would like to make them as comfortable as possible. Maybe someone knows of a place online with pigeon supplies, perhaps? Thanks so much!

Hi i dont believe in caging pigeons they should be in a shed and be allowed out to fly around..

I havent had pigeons in a couple of years and i let mine out to have a fly about then called them in when it was time to feed them.

most of the time they would fly back in on there own.

Hi, I have Doves, they are a bit smaller that pigeons, but very similar.
They like to ‘roost’ and be above you so place the cage above eye level.
I have a small dish-like nest made from two sticks and a small saucer from a plastic pot placed high in the cage, and a natural branch for parches. Most pet stores have dove/pigeon seed. My cage is large, the bigger the better I think, and its fun to let them fly around the room once in a wile too, but first let them get comfortable with you handling them so they will not fly away when its time to go back to ‘their room’.
There are many good books on pigeons,
some interesting facts: http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/Pigeons/BRKPigeon.html

How many do you have in the cage? I go to petsmart.com. They have good, important info as well as cheap supplies. Good Luck!
