What kind of birds do you have?

My budgies take it in turns to sit the eggs both parents sit them at night..

My cockatiels, the hen (female) sits on the eggs during the night and the cock (male)sits during the day..

Have you checked the eggs under a light or tourch to make sure the eggs are fertile.

Some birds wont sit on the eggs fully until all eggs are laid it maybe she is stil laying eggs.
