Hello all - I'm usually with all the other pet lovers in the feline section - but this evening I found a baby bird that had fallen from its nest at the grocery store. Does any one have advice on how I can nurse it to health until its able to care for itself? Is it too late now that I have handled it for it to go back to the wild? What can I do for this poor little guy? I hate to see it die if it still has a chance. Please help. Thanks! IP: Logged |

Well everyone - I'm sorry to report that as a result of my lack of knowledge on birds and no responses to my post - I am sad to report that the little baby bird has passed away. I tried everything I could think of to try to feed it, but he just wouldn't take to my efforts. He's in a better place now. IP: Logged |

I guess its a good thing that most of my questions or problems are in reguards to my cats - since no one appears to ever be in this bird site - or no one cares about some poor little bird I found. I was trying to do the right thing and thought I could get some help from "bird lovers" - Guess I was sorely mistaken about that. Well, I won't have to worry about seeking help from this board again. Thanks a lot - for nothing IP: Logged |
