![]() ![]() ![]() I'm 5'2, 14 years old and have been riding for 5 years. I'm finally allowed to get my own horse (not pony, my mum says i'll grow out of it!) but i don't know what size or type to get. I don't want to compete, but i like to go out hacking. Any suggestions? ![]() ![]() ![]() Congrats!! The type of horse doesn't really matter, so long as you and the horse bond well, and it's a horse you connect with both on the ground and under saddle. If you have a favorite, you might as well go with that. As far as height, unless you hit a big growth spurt, I'd say go for something around 16h. You can grow into it, but in the meantime, you won't look really small on it. Good Luck!! IP: Logged |
