I have a horse that dislikes the pellets in her grain. She sifts through the grain and ends up causing abrasions on her nose. She does this with anything that is put in her feeder. Yes I can buy a new feeder, but the one that I have is an older one that is not plastic. Does anyone have any suggestions? Someone told me to try to make my own liner... but with what?

Rubber or plastic feeding tubs are about the best. Wooden and metal can cause injuries.

I checked the web for the feeders. Do you know of a good web site for feeder?

Go to WWW.VALLEYVET.COM

They are really reasonable and have great products...
As for the pellets, if she doesn't like them switch feeds...Strategy is a good feed as well as the Omeline 200 OR 100
