You really should scout around first. There are many traders out there that will drug a horse, claim its the worlds best and sell it for a fortune! Look around some local rescues. Some of the best horses are available there. You want to spend a good deal of time at diffrent times with the horses before buying it.

So you want to buy a horse? You don't say how old you are or how much experience you've had with horses. You do you say your a beginner-if you haven't had riding lessons have those first..you'll gain valuable experience in being around horses. Horses are an expensive interest, the least of it is the initial cost in buying the horse-I figure it costs a little more then $2,000 a year in just average expenses. I don't want to talk you out of it-but it's a tremendous responsibility to own and care for a horse-Horse Rescues are full of horses that folks decided they couldn't afford. There are tons of ways to be involved with horses without owning one-one great one is to become a working student in a riding stable-you clean-stalls and tack, feed, groom, water in exchange for lessons-hard work-but great experience!!
