in the uk, if nobody buys them they go to number one for next to nothing! if the right people were there they could have been turned into superstars!

by the way..number one is the meat man!

Yes, its so sad, but the majority of the horses at local auctions are sold to meat markets.

Go to LSER.ORG we are always trying to expand from texas, we have successfully gone to Louisianna and Oklahoma. If you really want to start something like this check out the website, you'll find some interesting tips and helpful advice.

Most of the time there are buyers who will purchase all the non sale horses for slaughter at the end of the auction for rediculously low prices. LSER rescued a mare, registered, broke to ride for $50

How awful is that?
We try to get all the horses from going to the Killbuyers, but we can't save them all. I'm sure trying though.
