I am wanting to try this saddle. Would it be safe/wise on a horse that has her moods? She is still pretty green. It seems every other day is a good day.

I don't think there would be any problem with putting a bareback saddle on a moody horse. As long as you wear a helmet and are ready for a mood swing, you should be alright.

First of all if she/he is under the age of 2-3 it is not wise to be riding with or without anything!!! This can cause serious spinal problems and cause a sway back.

If its over that age, sure. Be sure to try her out in a controlled environment (ie. roundpen, or have someone lead her while your on)

I've got a moody app mare that only allows me to handle her. It gets aggrivating, but with patience, we overcome our obsticles.

She prefers the bareback or bareback pad to a saddle. her moods are less freequent like that as well.
