My horse is going to be clipped with just a blanket clip for the winter soon, but he gets anxious and has already been retreating to the back of his stable when those around him are clipped so he needs a sedative. My instructor is going to clip him for me as she has the equipment and the experience. She has said to ask my vet for ADP when he comes out to do the annual vaccinations and teeth checks. Has anyone else used this product? Please share your experiences with me as I would like to be a little more clued up on what I am asking for! Thank you! IP: Logged |

I think it's ACP you mean. it all depends on how sever the problem is. A vet with give an injection which makes the horse totally sleepy and that's what you'll have to go for if he's too difficult, or even dangerous. Otherwise there is ACP tablets but they work for some and not others or Sedalin which just relaxes them a bit to make it easier. Just depends on the reaction. Good luck! IP: Logged |
