I have been breeding for years and I can tell you that your filly is going to put on her most growth by the time she is 3 and if you breed her before then you could interfer with her maximum growth potential. Most fillies will come into season about 20 months of age, that doesn't mean that they should be breed. Without the experience needed to take care of a mare in foal you should probably enjoy your filly and let her grow to her maximum, which is at about 5 years of age. after years of experience which you will gain by raising this filly you will have a better idea if breeding and raising foals is what you want to do. At any time you do decide this is what you want to do, seek out good information, via book, articles or speak to a breeder and get lots of advice.
Good luck

NEVER BREED ANY HORSE MALE OR FEMALE BEFORE 4 YEARS OF AGE!!!!!

This can be fatal to a young horse. the pressures of birthing can acutally damage the insides of your horse and can lead to death or serious injuries.

A horse is not fully grown until it reaches 5 years of age.

Please consult a veterinarian if you have further questions.
