I am looking for some nonfiction books about horse. I read this book called "The Power Of Horses: True Stories From Country Music Stars" and I loved it! I am a horse lover and a country music fan so I loved reading the artist's horse stories. I would like to find some more great books to read. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

A good non-fiction book I just read was called "Dancers on the Grass: True Stories About Horses and People" by Teresa Martino Tsimmu. It's a true story book (duh) about an event rider and some of it is very humurous and some is pretty serious. Everyone I know that read this book loved it.

Thanks, wantedcrazychick (great name..by the way). The book you have recommended sounds exactly like the type of book I would like. I love true stories about horses that can make you laugh, cry, or inspire any other type of emotion. It reminds me of the book that I read, "The Power Of Horses". I am going to have to check it out. Thanks.

I know some great reading of non fiction they are called horsetales for the sole and and a new release Horsetales for the sole vol.4 was just released last month. It is stories sent in by horse owners telling thier own personal stories some will make you laugh and some will make you cry.
