I have always admired the Friesian, and I have just purchased some land out in the country. I was considering the purchase of a horse to have just for riding on my property for fun. I have always enjoyed admiring that breed and I would like to know if this breed would be appropriate for that. If not, what breed would you reccomend. If the Friesian is a good choice - where can I learn more about the breed and what websites, books, or articles would you suggest I research to learn more about their dispositions, history, and training as a future owner possibly. I want to know all the facts before I even remotely consider such a possible purchase as I am somewhat inexperienced with the breed. Thank you IP: Logged |

A good site about Friesians would be the FHANA site, just type in FHANA to your search. IP: Logged |

Was just thinking, if you wanted more pictures of Friesians, not really info, one of my favorite sites to drool over them is www.toadstoolfarms.com. They do fantasy pictures with their stallions and it's sooooo pretty! IP: Logged |
