What is the best mane and tail care? To get very soft manes and tails? Is there anyway to get them to grow? I have meet many horses that have very soft almost like human hair mane and tail. But my horses have that wire like hair. Is there anything I can do to help get that soft and long manes and tails?

the stables where i work use oils like parafin and canola oil in the tails to make them shine. brush the manes and tails regularly to premote good healthy hair.remember not to pull out too much tail hair as the horse needs this to protect it from insects

sun shield conditioner works GREAT!!!!!!! also, if your horse has dandruff or dry skin in the mane or tail.....just use a little mouthwash and it takes care of it pretty well, but be sure to wash it out really good.! good luck!
