my mini pony was just diaognised with locked stifle, i am panicking because he is my little baby. please email mini_pony_gal@yahoo.co.uk if you can give me any info about it, like if it reocurs and if it causes pain. Please

Definately consult your vet!!!

In the meantime, put him on joint suppliment and hydro it with warm water for 10 minutes at a time three times a day. Also keep him confined for at least 6 wks yet excersizing him some and streatch that leg!

you said he was "diagnosed " was he diagnosed by a vet? if so the vet should have told you what you should do and how to handle the situation. i luckily havent had to deal with stifle problems suprisingly . goodluck!
