Ive had my now 8yo thoroughbred gelding for just over 2 years and recently i was injured on him and i havent ridden for a few months now because i was getting better
I really want to get him going again but i dont really know where to start i havent lost any confidence from what happened but a few months after we got him he turned bad and has been ever since his only ever good now when we jump
Any advice will be great, thanks

start from the ground up by doing lunge work. make sure you go slowly and allow the horse to regain confidence in you. when you think your both ready start with short rides and progress slowly till back to normal. check him over to make sure that his tack or mouth is not causing his bad behaviour

Begin with groundwork, its the main ingrediant to a great working horse.
