Hi, I live in Nevada and I would like know if there are any state laws about owning a Stallion in a residential area. I live next door to neighbor ( across the street ) also owns the lot next to me where he keeps 8 mares and a stallion. I have 2 mare and it make it hard to train them when his stallion charges and hits the fence. Please help! Thanks

Hoofbeatz81: no, not usually. not unless theyve been retired for years and have hours upon hours of retraining under them. Every now and then you'll find the one who was a failure on the track and is somewhat sedate, but for the most part, OTT (off the track) Thoroughbreds are high strung and nervous. It's just the way they've been raised. They need time to settle down, and an experienced hand to bring them along in their retraining.
