The sinking algea wafer will not hurt the goldfish feeders. Goldfish do better in ponds and one of the things they like to eat is algea. Are you going to keep the feeder goldfish, or are they going to be fed to something? If you keep the goldfish, they will need a bigger tank or a pond in the long run. Take care and good luck! I've always given my catfish (pictus, cories, etc.) algae wafers to eat. The rest of the fish love to eat them too and they've never been affected by them. I've actually read things that say that the wafers are part of a balanced diet for most tropical fish. IP: Logged |
