I have a 33 gallon tank with 3 silver dollar and 1 puffer. Would I be able to put some salt in there. And I now that puffers are brackish. But would it hurt the silver dollars. I need to because my puffer has fungus and ick so does my other 3 Please help my I am going to the local pet store tomorrow.========================================================================================================Peace out homies

ok, i've said this a billion times, i know, but puffers are prone to fungus and parasites. ich could be a sign of something worse. yes put salt in, puffers NEED it anyway. put about 1 tablespoon per 10 gallons and you should be ok, but puffers,like i said aren't a good community fish.
