my marine columbian shark swims in one spot all day. he's at the front of of the tank swimming verticle but not really going any where. he does this for hours and only moves if there is food in the tank. is there something wrong with him?? i have another columbian but he's fresh water and he's very close friends with my mystery cat fish and i would feel bad separating them b/c mystery fish is missing a fin

Hi Fishfood,
I'm not sure if that behavior means something is wrong, all I know is that my 3 colombian sharks did it all the time. Since your a fellow colombian shark owner I have a question I hope you can answer. How many colombian sharks could i put in my 45gal and what other tank maits would be compatible with them ( perferibly cichlid)!!! Thanks

Alen I would only put about 3 in a tank but there brackish fish so you ll have to put some salt in there which mean there are very few cichlid that you could put in there.==============================================================Peace out
