does anyone know an easy way to sex an Oscar? I am kinda curious to know whether mine is male or female.

There is no easy way. You have to witness a successful spawning and either see who lays the eggs or examine their breeding tubes (female's is big and round, male's is small and pointed). Or you can also vent them, which is looking at their reproductive openings and comparing sizes. However, there's not a huge difference so it can be difficult to tell.

Male (oo)

At least I'm 99% sure those are the correct genders. They haven't actually bred yet, so I can't say for certain, but I do have experience venting other cichlids.
