Hi, I have 4 4" oscars in my 75G tank. I saw a strange behaviour in my oscar yesterday, I forgot feeding him in the morning but fed him at night. I noticed that when i was feeding them, One of them was floating at the surface sideways. But there was no problem in his breathing. He is a Red/Black mix ( copper oscar ). But when he was floating sideways his entire body was plish red. All the other three had no problem. Today morning i saw the floating oscar to be normal. Is this a normal behaviour is oscars ???? I need the exact numbers for ammonia, nitrIte, and nitrAte. What filter do you have? How often & how large are your water changes. Also, if you don't know already, you will only be able to keep 2 of those oscars in that tank (and that's only if they like eachother which is somewhat rare). -Chelle IP: Logged |
