I've found this site quite helpful as it also gives you the exact cuts of glass or acrylic that you will need as well as how many gallons your tank will be when enter in the dimensions you want.

I was going to, but never did because I have absolutely no where to put another fish tank. The parents would probably kick me out if they thought I was even considering it! I had to sneak my new 5 gal. in and only let them see it once it was running cuz then it would be too late for any yelling LOL.

Also, the only real reason I was going to use it was to save a little money (poor college student here) and when I checked out prices of glass and acrylic plus hoods, filters, heaters, sealer, building a stand, etc. it really wouldn't have saved me any money.

But good luck to you, and I expect pictures when you're done
