Pictus cats will get about 8" and they are egg layers, although I'm not sure how difficult they are to breed in captivity. Also, how big is your tank (volume) and how many of each fish do you have? -Chelle IP: Logged |

the angels alown need the 25 gal to them selfs... if your unlukey an they pair off they will kill everthing.. or get eaten buy the firemouth or get eaten buy the pictus cats... if you want to keep all those fish you will need a very VERY large aquarium... becuse of the fire mouths agreation... i would sugest not getting the fire mouth and getting at least a 80+ gal aquarium for the angels and picts.. If you want a pair of firemouths, you will need at least a 40 gallon tank. -Chelle IP: Logged |

i owned a pair of firemouths...you'll nver get the fry to live long if you keep them with anything else. they'll eat their own babies before they let something else eat them. also they get super aggressive when they do have fry. some times they eat the first few batches of babies. make sure you have lots of plants and rocks. they like to hide the babies under them. i wouldn't suggest keeping firemouths with anything else if you want to breed them.
