Anyone have any suggestion on what to do to help a fish that is completely blind? He started out with the loss of one eye and seemed to pretty much be doing ok. He would even eat. Now he seems to be completely blind. He attempts to get the food, but misses it. It is a shame because otherwise he is ok, but obviously if he doesn't eat he will starve. He has already started to lose weight. I have fed larger flakes and fed often hoping he will at least catch some of the food, but it seems he cannot now. Any suggestions? I seem to be having sucky luck with fish. Thanks.. NTC IP: Logged |

Good news! I have been watching the blind fish closely and he is getting food. He even doesn't look as skinny as he did. Maybe he has learned to adapt. I saw him even go after another fish that wondered into his area. So as long as he is getting enough food and acting fiesty, I am not putting him down at all. NTC IP: Logged |
