Hey everybody! So, I just figured out how to post photos on this site and I thought I would share my new found knowledge because I know there are others out there who, like me, have always wanted to post photos. 1. Set up an account with an online picture developing place: Snapfish, Ofoto, Shutterfly, etc. These are free and often they will give you free prints just for joining. 2. Upload the pictures from your computer or cd onto the developing site. If you have a film camera have the film developed onto cd to avoid having to scan in the pics (This should cost max $4.00, I develop photos for a living so if anyone tries to charge you more than that go elsewhere, because it really only costs them less than $1 to make the disc.) 3. View the picture at the printing place it was uploaded to. If you right click on the photo and go all the way down to "properties" you will see the URL the picture is at. Highlight and copy this address. 4. Come to Auspet and click on the "insert a picture" link when you are replying or starting a topic. Paste the URL here. Click ok. It would only let me do a maximum of six in one reply. 5. You should be taken back to the topic and be able to see the pic. Be patient, photos can be large files and if you are at 56K or lower it will probably take a while. 6. Congrats! You've posted a picture! I hope this helps some of you out there, it sure took me long enough to figure out! Happy posting. IP: Logged |

I just want to add that if the hosting site you use doesn't allow outside linking (like Yahoo & I believe Webshots) it won't work. -Chelle IP: Logged |
