My fishes fins are turning black and I am scared they are to balloon mallys one is blue one is purple and I took the purple one out of the tank and gave it to my sister and that is when this problem started I mean these fins are all the way black I went with my senses and thought it was depression and put the purple on back in with him a half an hour ago and she no sign of inprovment but he is being a bully again help me I think they might be mateing if so tell me how to handle the problem

Hi,
I would have the activated carbon removed from the filter and the acquarium if at all if any.

What are your water parameters (ammonia, nitrIte, nitrAte)?
