if u end up with a pair of convicts and they breed, then u are in for some trouble with the other fish. the convicts will mostly likely terrorize them. i would not reccomend putting convicts in a tank of fish that cannot defend themselves. hope this helps IP: Logged |

i have a 10 gal and in it i have 3 longfin danios and 1 ,3 inch long plecostomus soon getting a 55gal tank maybe today only would get 1 convict that would be about an inch long just wondering if this would be ok for awhile please reply quickly? IP: Logged |

I would not put a convict, even one, in with longfin danios. unless you don't mind the danios being shredded, that is. they lay eggs, not livebearers. IP: Logged |

I now have 1 danio 1 african under water frog 1 plecostomus and 1 red blue paradice the frog ate 2 of my danios go figure IP: Logged |
