I have two rainbow sharks in a 46 gallon tank. when i bought them, i was told that they could be put together, but now i know that they shouldn't be. they are close to the same size, but the larger one is a little bit of a bully. The larger one(female) is a dark brown color, and the smaller was too. this morning i looked and saw that my smaller one is almost yellowish in color. Please does anyone know what's going on? Sounds like the paler one is getting picked on. You could try keeping them together, but there's a chance the paler one could get killed. Other than that, your only choice is to separate them. FWIW, I could only keep 1 in a 55 gallon tank. -Chelle IP: Logged |
