getting a 55 gal tank i have 3 leoperd danios and 1 plec would there be room for a small bala shark

sounds like the bala shark might fit for a little bit, but there are 2 things 2 consider: bala's are comfortable in groups and that i think htat can reach lengths of up to 12".

I wouldn't recommend a bala shark. Like grnlemonade said, they prefer to be in groups of at least 3. They are also very active, skittish, and get quite large (12" - 14") so they really aren't suited for anything less than 150 gallons.
