my albino frog has his bones showing in one of his back feet he got caught on something or somthing caught him (like my crayfish etc..) and it started out w/ a cut on his foot now 2 bones to his toe r showing w/ no skin around them (kinda hard to explain so bare w/ me) i put him in a tank by himself now and its doesnt look so bad but it has a clear substance formed around his back foot...anyone have any advice on how i should treat this to make it better??

Treating frogs with meds tends to be very tricky since they react badly to most meds.

I know for a fact that you can use Melafix with african dwarf frogs so I'm assuming african clawed frogs (at least I'm pretty sure that's what yours is) wouldn't be any different. It should help the wound heal, but I'm not sure about the clear substance. Does it look like fungus? Could you maybe get a pic?

Here is a really great forum specifically geared towards dwarf & clawed frogs. They are very knowledgeable and can probably be more helpful than me in this case.
