Well your possibilities are pretty much endless. Do you want a lot of small fish or a few big fish. Basically it probably easier to tell you what you cannot put in the tank.....any Pacu...more than 1 Oscar....Irridescent Shark, arrowana, etc. You might want to buy a test kit and test the PH of your water....that will give you a good idea of what groups of fish would do best in your water conditions. Do you want to put live plants in to your aquarium? You might want to take that in to consideration when you buy fish. I saw an elephant nose today. It was black and white and looked pretty cool. I dont know anything about it though- jut that it likes a little salt. Good luck IP: Logged |

yeah probobly some floating plants cause i want to get a bala shark i herd they jump alot and floating plants might discourage it are they hard to keep? IP: Logged |

Yes bala sharks are jumpers they are also schooling fish and if not kept with 6 or more they feel out of place. This would be too much load on a 55. ------------------ IP: Logged |
