You have the oscars in the 30 gallon tank right? And IIRC, you said you were trying to get a 75 gallon for them, right? I suggest trying to hurry up with the 75 gallon and (depending on the sizes of the oscars and loach) move all three to the 75. A 30 gallon with 2 oscars is already maxed out and adding another fish will just cause more problems. If you really want to get the loach out of the 10 gallon soon, you can always buy a plastic storage bin and a filter for it until you can get the bigger tank. It won't look pretty, but it will be better than the 10 gallon. -Chelle IP: Logged |

A lot depends on the temperment of the fish (some oscars will kill anything others are very tollerant). I've heard of people keeping clown loaches with oscars so my guess is a weather loach wouldn't be much differnt, but I've never tried it, so don't take that as gospel. Also keep in mind that since your oscars already have their territories staked out, they may not accept a new tankmate. So I still think your best bet would be waiting until you get the bigger tank for the oscars and adding all 3 fish at the same time. -Chelle IP: Logged |

I'd be worried the oscar would think the dojo loach is a nice fat worm. clown loaches and dojo loaches are shaped much differently. Just a thought, if you want to err on the safe side.. I don't have oscars so have no idea what size fish they go after. IP: Logged |

lol the loach could be come a noodle and be slurped up by a hungry oscar. maybe it would do ok if you had a lot of caves at the bottem that only the loach could pass through. But that would be hard to clean and such. and you would never see your loach lol IP: Logged |

the lloach was only 2.99 but i dont wanna end a life, so ill think about putting it in with the oscar, if the oscar bothers it then ill put the loach back in the old tank , if they are okay then ill see what happens IP: Logged |
