i was wondering if 3 adult silver dollers Share the same Bio load of an adult oscar? becuse my baby oscar died... and my 2 silver dollers look lonely IP: Logged |

They are not as messy eating as oscars, but they are a very thick bodied fish that gets reasonably large so they don't fit the 1"/gallon "rule". How large is your tank? IP: Logged |

80 galons with a faluva 304 and a ac 200... if the hood permitted i would switch my pegiun with the bio weal over but not anough space>< IP: Logged |

You should be ok. For SD's you could also think about planting some hardy, fast growing vegetation for them. It'll eat up some of the nitrates and give them something to snack on. Java fern and moss are supposed to be able to handle their browsing if there's enough of it. Don't invest too heavily though, because they'll devour almost anything else you put in there. they shar it with some bottem dwellers 2 convicts that stay in a pot and a green terror i might get another faluva 304 though i like canisters alot more then hob 1's ------------------ IP: Logged |
